Spradlin Music has been in business since 1996 is currently based just outside Austin, Texas.  

As a teacher for over 30 years, Sallie Spradlin has been working with children and adults in music, art, and theatre! From teaching music classes, directing stage productions, choirs, and bands, to teaching private lessons in piano and voice, Sallie has an incredible amount of experience in her field! Sallie teaches with high energy, and she uses fun games, current teaching resources and innovative technology with her students!


As a songwriter, Sallie has composed original works and arrangements that can be classified into a broad spectrum of genres. From sacred music to rock 'n roll (and all the genres in between), Sallie writes and performs original songs and she creates unique arrangements of popular songs from the last four decades. 


As a backstage leader during many community theatre productions early in her career, Sallie has filled many roles including the roles of Stage Manager, Costume Designer, Hair/Makeup Designer, and Lighting Designer. These opportunities allowed Sallie to gain important experience behind the scenes!


As a Director for many community and professional stage productions, Sallie has also worn the titles of Assistant Director, Orchestra Conductor, Music Director, Choir Director and Director for shows such as Beauty and The Beast, Summer Melodramas (2007), Always...Patsy Cline, Oklahoma, and many more.


As a performer, Sallie has played many well-known characters including "Miss Hannigan" (Annie), "Matron Mamma Morton" (Chicago), and "Eva Peron" (Evita) on the stage. Sallie can also be seen around central Texas appearing as a regal "Mrs. Claus" during the holiday season at many small town parades and events. Sallie also appears as an original character "Mrs. Readmore," during library story times and most recently during online storytime live feeds. 


As an inspirational speaker, Sallie uses storytelling, clean comedy, skits, and music to entertain secular audiences as well as faith-based groups all over the U.S. She speaks at fundraisers, women's conferences, teacher events, corporate events, and team-building meetings.


As a writer, Sallie has compiled short stories and opinion essays based on her life experience. She shares candidly about subjects like spirituality, parenting, and balancing friendships. She writes community theatre production reviews and local live music reviews. She writes short fiction stories, scripts for children's theatre productions, and adapts stories into scripts for community theatres throughout the United States.


As a podcoast host, and music/video producer, Sallie creates content that is inspirational and thought-provoking. 

Sallie has worn many hats in the world of fine arts over the last for decades, but she enjoys teaching the most! Her motto for all Spradlin Music students is...
